Ximena Hoffmann holds a Law Degree from the University of Buenos Aires and a B.A. in Theater from the Buenos Aires Acting Academy. With extensive experience in language instruction, she has taught Spanish at various levels, including as a Spanish Tutor at the University of Pennsylvania’s Lauder Institute and as a Spanish Intervention Teacher at Independence Charter School. She has also worked with federal government agencies, such as the FBI and DEA, through Berlitz Philadelphia Language Center, providing specialized language training. Ximena’s expertise extends beyond language instruction to include curriculum development, cultural training, and interdisciplinary teaching methods. She has tutored undergraduate students at Rider University and prepared students for the Oral Proficiency Interview (OPI) exam. Her background in theater informs her pedagogical approach, incorporating performance techniques into language acquisition. Fluent in Spanish, English, and French, she brings a multidisciplinary and culturally informed perspective to her work in language education. In addition to her teaching experience, Ximena has an extensive legal background, having served as an Adjunct Professor of Criminal Law at the University of Buenos Aires and as a legal consultant for the Ministry of Justice and Human Rights in Argentina. She has authored multiple publications on juvenile justice, urban crime, and crime prevention policies. Her work includes Inseguridad social, jóvenes vulnerables y delito urbano.
