Professor Emeritus of Romance Languages
Earned various degrees in Literature, Art History and Latin American Studies from Yale and U.C.I. Became a Professor at Penn, teaching, writing and publishing books and articles on Latin American and Argentine cultural criticism while designing and directing Penn's Spanish and Latin American Studies programs in Philadelphia, Oaxaca, Buenos Aires, Madrid, Barcelona and Seville. When in Buenos Aires, Argentina, taught at the Universidad Torcuato Di Tella.
