Yuxuan Miao (she/her). I was born and raised in a small city in northern China and began my metropolitan journey when I was admitted to college. I majored in Spanish Philology at Beijing Language and Culture University for my undergraduate studies and then earned my master’s degree in Spanish Literature at Peking University in 2024. I participated in exchange programs in Barcelona and Spain during my studies and have also been involved in translation projects. A cat lover and a cooking aficionado. I’m interested in contemporary Latin American literature, with an emphasis on women’s writing. I am also fascinated by how gender, class, and space (especially in frontier areas) shape the way people perceive their surroundings and the lively interaction between these factors.
